Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 7, 2026

Glacier National Claims Services ("Glacier National," "we," "us," or "our") is a third-party claims administrator. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information we handle in the course of administering claims. This policy explains, at a high level, what information we collect, how we use it, and with whom we share it.

Information We Collect

In administering claims, we may collect personal information such as your name, contact details, date of birth, government-issued identification numbers, financial or payment information, and information related to claims, injuries, and losses. We collect this information directly from you and from third parties such as insurers, employers, agents or brokers, healthcare providers, and other service providers involved in your claim.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to administer and process claims, communicate with the parties involved, prevent and investigate fraud, meet legal and regulatory obligations, and support our everyday business operations.

How We Share Your Information

We share your information only as needed to administer claims and as permitted or required by law. This may include sharing with insurers and reinsurers, agents and brokers, adjusters and examiners, medical and repair providers, regulators and law enforcement, and service providers who support our business. We do not sell your personal information.

How We Protect Your Information

We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect your information, and we limit access to those who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to administer claims and to meet our legal, regulatory, and business requirements.

Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, to receive a copy of it, and to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, please contact us using the information below. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Please note that much of the information we handle as a claims administrator is regulated under federal laws such as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and, where applicable, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Information governed by those laws may be exempt from some or all of the state privacy rights described below, and our handling of it is governed by those laws and their associated notices instead.

Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended) gives you the right to request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, and the purposes for collecting and sharing it; to request correction or deletion of your personal information; to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information; and to limit the use of certain sensitive personal information. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. To the extent the information we hold about you is subject to the GLBA or HIPAA, it may be exempt from these rights.

Other U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia, may have similar rights, such as the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, or certain profiling. The specific rights available and how they apply depend on your state's law and on the applicable federal exemptions noted above. To exercise any of these rights, or to appeal a decision on a prior request, please contact us using the information below.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
